Terms and Conditions of stay at the guest house “Dziupla Dębki Marta Borkowska” located in Dębki, ul. Leśna 23, hereinafter referred to as the Guest House

General provisions regarding the use of the Guest House

  1. These Terms and Conditions define the rules for the provision of services, liability and stay at the Guest House, and constitute an integral part of the contract which is concluded by signing a registration card or making a booking and paying either the deposit or the entire amount for the stay. By performing the activities listed in the preceding sentence, the Guest confirms that they have read and accept the Terms and Conditions. The contract may be concluded only with an adult Guest who has full legal capacity.
  2. The Guest House provides accommodation services in the form of room rental for short-term stay of the Guest related to the recreation of adults and children over 10 years of age.
  3. A room at the Guest House is rented on a daily basis. The day starts at 4.00 pm and ends at 11.00 am the next day.
  4. Only registered persons are permitted to stay at the Guest House. Receiving visitors at the Guest House is prohibited.
  5. The Guest must not hand over the room to any third parties.
  6. The room may be rented for a specified period only. If the time of stay is not specified at check-in, it is assumed that the room has been rented for one day.
  7. It is possible to extend the stay subject to the availability of rooms at the Guest House. If the Guest intends to extend their stay, the Guest must report it immediately.
  8. The Guest is required to vacate the Guest House by 11.00 am on the last paid day of their stay.
  9. The Guest House has quiet hours from 10.00 pm to 6.00 am.
  10. The rooms are not cleaned during the Guest’s entire stay.
  11. Children at the Guest House must be at all time under the supervision of their parents (legal guardians) or an adult carer appointed by their parent (legal guardian).
  12. Smoking is strictly prohibited in the building and on the balconies, including electronic cigarettes.
  13. Guests are required to maintain order and cleanliness at the Guest House.
  14. Bed linen is changed and hygiene products (toilet paper) are replenished during the Guest’s stay every 7 days.
  15. When the room is booked for more than 6 days, towels are included in the fee for the stay – 1 towel for 1 person. Towels are changed every 7 days. For stays shorter than 6 days, towels are provided for a fee of PLN 20 per towel. Towels must not be taken outside the Guest House.
  16. Guests may use the communal kitchen. The kitchen is intended for all Guests staying at the Guest House and must be used with respect for other Guests. Each Guest is required to keep the kitchen tidy.
  17. Guests have a barbecue grill and fire pit at their disposal – available upon prior booking. The fee for wood is charged separately. The Guest uses the barbecue grill during the booking period, with respect for other guests, and is also required to clean the place after using it. The place should be cleaned immediately after using it so that another guest can use it. An additional fee of PLN 50 is charged for clearing the place by the Guest House staff.
  18. Guests may leave their vehicles on the premises of the Guest House at their own risk and only during the paid stay of the Guest at the Guest House. The Guest House is not responsible for loss of or damage to the Guest’s car or other vehicle left on the premises of the Guest House, or any items left in the car or other vehicle.
  19. The Guest House has a pet friendly policy. The pet must be at all times under the care of the Guest, cannot be left alone in the room or move around the Guest House without the Guest’s supervision and appropriate security. The Guest is required to clean up after the pet. The Guest is responsible for damage caused by the pet. Aggressive pets are not allowed on the premises of the Guest House. The Guest is required to report their intention to come with a pet at the time of booking. The Guest House may refuse the Guest to stay with their pet without giving a reason. The stay of pets other than dogs is agreed upon on a case to case basis at the time of booking.
  20. Due to fire safety, it is forbidden to use in the rooms any heaters, electric grills, electric kettles, irons, electric stoves or other similar devices not supplied by the Guest House.
  21. The Guest House is not responsible for any valuables left by the Guest in the room or on the premises of the Guest House.
  22. In order to protect people and property, the Guest House is monitored using CCTV cameras.

Payment for the stay, booking and deposit

  1. Payment for the stay is made in advance, at the check-in. Failure to pay is the basis for refusal to provide the service.
  2. The condition for the booking is the payment of a deposit to the account with the PKO BP bank, account number 80102011270000190200112292, account owner Marta Borkowska.
  3. Payment is non-refundable if the Guest leaves before the end of their planned stay.
  4. If the Guest makes a booking in advance, the Guest is required to make an advance payment, within 3 days of the booking, of 30% of the total cost of the stay. The remaining amount is paid no later than at check-in, in cash, and if possible by a payment card, at the Guest’s choice. If the Guest books a stay that is to begin less than 7 days from the date of booking, the advance payment must be made no later than the next day after the booking.  For a non-cash payment, the date of receipt of the funds on the Guest House’s bank account is considered the date of payment.
  5. The booking is considered to be confirmed if the Guest has made the advance payment in full and the Guest House has sent to the Guest via e-mail confirmation of the advance payment and confirmation of the booking specifying: start date and end date of the stay, number of people, room specification and the total cost of the stay. The Guest is required to contact the Guest House if they do not receive the confirmation of booking within 3 days of the advance payment.
  6. Failure to make an advance payment (down payment) within the agreed period results in the cancellation of the booking, without the need to notify the Guest.
  7. On the day of arrival, the Guest fills in a Registration Card, in which the Guest provides their personal details and details of people who will use the room with them: name, surname, PESEL number, address of residence. Each person using the room is required to present a valid identity document.
  8. If the Guest fails to show by 7.00 pm on the day of the planned arrival and to notify of a later time of arrival, the booking will be cancelled and the room will be rented to another guest.
  9. The Guest House may cancel the booking for important reasons, e.g. due to the inability to provide the service caused by a breakdown, force majeure, epidemic situation, regulations restricting the provision of services, and other similar reasons beyond the control of the Guest House. In this situation, the Guest House will immediately notify the Guest of the cancellation of their booking. The down payment made by the Guest is fully refundable within 7 days of the cancellation of the booking by the Guest House, and the Guest is not entitled to a double deposit refund. The notification is made by e-mail or by phone.
  10. The price for the stay at the Guest House is a contractual price agreed at the time of booking, and if the booking has not been made, the price is determined before check-in and stated in the Registration Card. When making a booking, the price is confirmed by the Guest House by e-mail together with the confirmation of the booking.
  11. Before making a booking, the Guest is required to read the Terms and Conditions and information about the Guest House, in particular regarding the standard of rooms and the location of the Guest House, posted on the Guest House’s website at https://debki-noclegi.pl/.
  12. The Guest House offers the following rooms:
    • a room accommodating 2 persons on the ground floor
    • a room accommodating 2 persons on the first floor
    • a room accommodating 2 persons in the attic
    • a room accommodating 2 persons in the attic with a balcony
    • a room accommodating 3 persons on the ground floor
    • a room accommodating 3 persons on the first floor
    • a room accommodating 4-5 persons on the first floor (two bedrooms)
Each room is additionally equipped with: an electric kettle, cups with the Dziupla Dębki logo, a screen with the Dziupla Dębki logo, and a “lazy bag” – an inflatable beach sofa.
  1. The fee for a lost key is PLN 100 for each key.
  2. The Guest House has fire wood and briquettes for the grill and supplies them for a fee.
  3. Prices for services that are not specified in the Terms and Conditions are contractual prices to be agreed when the service is ordered.
  4. At check-in, the Guest pays a deposit of PLN 500 per room. The deposit is paid in cash. The deposit is settled on the day of departure when the room has been surrendered. Unpaid fees due under these Terms and Conditions, and amounts due for damaged or missing room equipment identified when the room has been surrendered may be deducted from the deposit.
  5. The fee for the stay of one pet is PLN 10 per night.

Responsibility for damages and termination of stay

  1. The Guest is financially responsible for any damage to the equipment and technical devices at the Guest House caused by the Guest’s fault or the fault of persons visiting them, or animals under their care. The Guest is also responsible for any damage caused by children reported in the Registration Card which does not exclude the liability of the child’s parents or legal guardians. The Guest is required to immediately notify the Guest House of any damage.
  2. On the final day of the stay, the Guest House staff checks the room, and in the event of any damaged or missing room equipment, the Guest will be charged with the costs of repair or replacement of the damaged or missing equipment, and the costs of renovation of the room, if required. The above does not exclude the Guest House’s claims against the Guest for compensation for the loss of profit caused by the room not being fit for use.
  3. If the Guest seriously disturbs the peace and/or violates the interests of their neighbours or other Guests, fails to comply with the generally applicable standards of coexistence between people, the Guest House reserves the right to terminate the Guest’s stay, and in such case is not required to refund the money for the unused period. The Guest is required to vacate the Guest House by 11.00 am on the day following the day on which their stay was terminated.
  4. Other rules for the stay at the Guest House may be agreed individually between the Guest House and the Guest, including deviations from the rules set out in these Terms and Conditions.
  5. The relations between the Guest and the Guest House are governed by Polish law, and the text of the Terms and Conditions in Polish prevails.
